Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker has signed a bill banning the sale of vaping & tobacco products to those under 21 years old. This bill will be effective on July 1 this year.
That means Illinois will join California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Oregon, Hawaii, Maine and Washington, D.C. in banning sales to those under 21. Included in the ban are vaping products, cigarettes, cigars and chewing tobacco.
Businesses will face fines and other penalties for selling to underage customers.
But is this will help to fight against the teenage vaping? Tell us your idea in the comments.
